Acceptance of these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Patty's Pressure Washing, a DBA of Dymaxion Consulting Group LLC, Chagrin Falls, Ohio ("we", "us", "our"). They apply when you use www.pattyspressurewashing.com, request an estimate, book work with us, or take part in our text messaging program. By doing any of those things you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or our services.
Estimates and the work we do
- Estimates are free and are not binding on either of us until you accept a written quote. A quote describes the work, the price and any conditions; if the property turns out to be materially different from what we quoted (for example a much larger area or a surface that needs a different method), we will tell you before doing extra work.
- Scheduling. We work outdoors, so rain, wind, freezing temperatures and lightning can move an appointment. When weather forces a change we will contact you as soon as we can and offer the next available date. You can reschedule or cancel a booked job by calling or texting us; please give us as much notice as you can.
- Washing season. Our exterior washing season runs March through November. Outside that window we still answer calls and can quote jobs for the coming season.
- Access and preparation. Please make sure we can reach the areas to be cleaned and an outdoor water spigot, and move vehicles, planters and furniture you would rather we did not touch. Tell us about anything fragile, any leaks, and any surfaces that have been painted, sealed or stained recently.
- Payment. Payment terms are stated on your quote and invoice. Quotes, invoices and the Client Portal are provided through Jobber, whose own terms apply to that portal.
Using the website
The website and its content (text, photos, logo, videos) belong to Patty's Pressure Washing or are used with permission. You may view and share pages for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy our content onto another site, scrape the site, or use it in a way that damages it or interferes with other visitors. The website links to other sites (Google, Facebook, Instagram, the Better Business Bureau, Jobber); we are not responsible for their content or practices.
The estimate request form and the Client Portal are provided by Jobber and are governed by Jobber's terms and privacy policy as well as ours.
Text messaging (SMS) terms
These terms cover the texts you may receive after calling our published business number, (440) 991-7343, when we cannot answer. The texts come from our business texting number and identify Patty's Pressure Washing. They match the program description registered with our messaging carrier.
How you join. You are only texted after you call our published business number and we could not answer. No text is ever sent to a number that has not called us. Every text identifies Patty's Pressure Washing and ends with "Reply STOP to opt out".
After you reply STOP. You receive one confirmation text and nothing further. If you want to hear from us again later, call or text us and ask; we will not re-enroll a number that opted out unless you tell us to.
Follow-up after a job. After a completed project we may reach out by phone, text or email to ask how it went and invite you to leave a public review. This is voluntary and has no effect on your service.
Reviews and photos
We are proud of our work and may photograph or film completed jobs for our website, our recent projects gallery and our social media pages. The photos are of the surfaces we cleaned. If you would rather your property not appear, tell us before or after the job and we will leave it out or take it down. Reviews you post on Google or other sites are your own words and are governed by those sites' rules.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
We do careful, professional work using low-pressure soft washing where surfaces need it and high pressure where they can take it. Even so, outdoor cleaning has limits:
- Some stains (rust, deep oil, efflorescence, paint, tree sap that has cured) may lighten but not disappear completely; we will tell you if we expect that.
- Surfaces that are already damaged (loose mortar, flaking paint, rotten wood, cracked sealer, brittle shingles) may show that damage more clearly once the dirt is gone. We inspect before we start and will point out concerns, but we are not responsible for pre-existing conditions.
- Cleaning solutions are rinsed thoroughly, but we ask that you keep pets and children off treated areas until they are dry.
We are licensed and insured. If something we did causes damage, tell us within a reasonable time and we will make it right. Beyond that, to the fullest extent Ohio law allows, our total liability for any claim connected with the website or our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the job in question, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
The website is provided "as is". We try to keep it accurate and available but do not guarantee that it will be error-free or uninterrupted.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that we cannot settle by talking it through will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Ohio, and both sides agree to that venue.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always at www.pattyspressurewashing.com/terms with the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the website or our services after a change means you accept the updated terms.
